URGENT ACTION NEEDED! We only get one shot at stopping the vaccine passport in Utah! This is it!! The only way this is going to happen is if we ALL do EVERYTHING we can - and we CAN do this!!! "We have a VERY good chance at getting the vaccine passport blocked from ever becoming a reality in Utah.
HB60(S2) is the bill that will prohibit discrimination based on “immunity status.”
(Very important not to make it about Covid-19 specifically because then the name could just be changed in order to enforce a passport.)
Because we have so much momentum however, very powerful opposition has risen to meet it.
This was just described to me as the Super Bowl of Health Freedom, and that sounds about right.
We’re definitely the underdogs, the other team has a lot more power and money…
but we’ve got the hearts and minds of The People on our side, and we’re in the Right.
If and when we pull this off, it’s going to be because YOU took the time to make it happen.

Recap of the Situation Thus Far
HB60S2 barely made it out of the House Business & Labor Committee this past Tuesday, Feb 15, 2022.
Representative Thurston proposed an amendment during the Tuesday Committee hearing that would have removed completely the section of the bill prohibiting vaccine passports. That proposed amendment was voted down in Committee 7-6, and the bill went to the House.
Friday morning, Representative Hawkes moved to "circle" the bill. "Circling" puts the bill on hold until Rep Hawkes can propose his own amendment or substitution. The motion to circle passed.
Rep Hawkes has made clear from the beginning of this process that he wants to remove the prohibition on vaccine passports.
The bill will now be heard and voted on Tuesday the 22nd in the 2pm session.
Again, the risk is extremely high that the house will attempt to kill this bill with an amendment. This is Utah's last chance to prohibit the V passport - for any disease or condition.

What YOU Need To Do

1 - SHOW UP IN PERSON at the capitol on Tuesday the 22nd for the 2:00 session - preferably early, 1:00 - 1:30.
Signs are allowed in the hallways (bring them!! YES on HB60 AS WRITTEN - NO amendments), not in the gallery.
Note this is not a “rally” or “protest.” It’s simply The People showing up en masse to respectfully make our position crystal clear.
Flooding the place has been extremely powerful and it’s an amazing atmosphere. You want to be part of this!!

2 - EMAIL every one of the House Representatives who voted YES on circling the bill. This means they are unwilling to vote on it as it currently reads.
(DO THIS RIGHT NOW - BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE - DON’T PUT THIS OFF!!!)
We support the bill as it is currently written.
Please email each House Representative listed below, and be sure to at least include the following seven points:
(1) Express your dismay / shock / surprise at the unwillingness to pass HB60 as written and stop vaccine passports in Utah. It is shocking that our representatives are not readily upholding individual rights and standing against discrimination. Supporting this bill should be easy.
(2) Tell them five rooms were full of people at the public hearing this past Tuesday, and the Committee Chair noted that the members had received "hundreds and hundreds of emails." How many people of Utah do they need to hear from before they will listen?
(3) Tell them this issue is greater than COVID-19; we want to stop passports in the state of Utah, period.
(4) Tell them this does NOT “add more regulation” to Utah businesses, it simply gets us back to the place where people are not asked about, nor discriminated against due to their private medical information.
(5) Tell them this is absolutely necessary to protect businesses from being coerced by the federal government into being weaponized against The People into enforcing an anti-freedom agenda.
(6) Tell them you as a citizen of Utah DO NOT support any further amendments to the bill language
(7) Ask them to vote YES on HB 60 as it is currently written

FYI...here's the email I just sent to everyone, especially thanking the last group of house reps.... Yes, this is unique to me and yes, I am passionate. I am not ashamed of my passion......
Passing a bill that is one of the few rare bills that actually preserves liberty is a no-brainer.
It's pretty unbelievable and makes us Utahns question why anyone would not want to support HB60s2. Please, if you are not voting yes, can you share what the hang-up(s) is/are?
I'm sure it's pretty obvious that your constituents and the VAST majority of Utah citizens want and stand for THE FOUNDATIONAL PRINCIPLES OF LIBERTY that you were voted in for. You took an OATH to support liberty and basic human rights. You took an oath to PROTECT Utah citizens from the abuse of their rights. Swearing this oath means you promise or vow to protect and defend "we the people". That's it. Please realize the magnitude of what you do. Selling out is never worth it, but especially if you've made a sworn promise. Let's pretend for a moment that some your constituents (or even many) were okay with mandates and expressed it to you....well, EVEN IF they are ok with them-- what has somehow actually happened in Utah with vax passports and medical testing is STILL against basic human rights. IT IS UNLAWFUL. Period. The world and the Lord will record here on earth and in heaven who supported agency and who supported coercion and tyranny. Don't forget YOUR OATH. At the end of the day, do YOU support human rights and are you doing what is right and honoring the constitution you SWORE to protect???
Anyone with the unwillingness to pass HB60 as written and stop vaccine passports in Utah is not readily upholding individual rights and standing against discrimination. Supporting this bill should be easy. Please show me how my statement above is incorrect. Five rooms were full of people at the public hearing this past Tuesday, and the Committee Chair noted that the members had received "hundreds and hundreds of emails." I know hundreds of people were also joining online as well. Personally, I was in a physical meeting with 9 other folks and each of us were also in that meeting as we sat in St. George. How many people of Utah do you need to hear from before you will listen? We are all watching each of you and will witness on Tuesday who chooses liberty. I sure hope you realize that this bill does NOT “add more regulation” to Utah businesses, it simply gets us back to the place where people are not asked about, nor discriminated against due to their private medical information. BASIC HUMAN DIGNITY. We need YOU to make the right decision.
